AceShowbiz - Kanye West may never be able to be president of the United States. According to a new report, the Chicago star hadn't received a single donation for his 2024 presidential campaign in weeks.
In Federal Election Commision (FEC) filings obtained by Radar Online, the "Gold Digger" rhymer got zero donations in weeks. On April 1, the campaign had $124,873 in its coffer. However, by the time June 30, more than $101,000 was paid out to consultants and other employees.
The news outlet went on to share that there's only about $23,000 in cash left for the "Kanye 2024" campaign, though the campaign doesn't have any outstanding debts.
It's additionally said that while Ye only pulled in about $455,000 in donations since the campaign began, he claimed that he spent over $2 million in bills. Some of the expenses was a $31,000 check to Milo Yiannopoulos, an alt-right provocateur who was billed as the rapper's "Director of Political Operations."
Back in April, the father of four allegedly canceled his plan to run for President of the United States in the 2024 election. Adam Camacho, a documentary producer hired by Ye's company to make a film in November 2022, said that he's planning to focus on his family and his private Christian school Donda Academy instead.
Adam claimed that when he reached out to Ye, the former husband of Kim Kardashian allegedly told Adam that he changed his focus. "Right now, I am living my life - like I'm concentrating on the school, The Donda Academy, and my new wife, and my kids, and that's it," the Chicago star allegedly told Adam. "I just want to be left alone."
An anonymous employee of the "Jesus Is King" MC also echoed the sentiment. Of the Yeezy designer, the source told the news outlet, "His interests are focused on his children, family, and creative endeavors… Anyone that is representing Ye in any political capacity is a charlatan. There is no political shop."
The insider further claimed that Ye lost desire to be POTUS after tying the knot with his new wife Bianca Censori, who also works at Yeezy. The two made headlines for their surprise, private ceremony in January.
