Hitting the red carpet at the 'Oppenheimer' photocall, the Jean Tatlock depicter receives much-needed help from the 'Don't Worry Darling' actress in fixing her blazer.

AceShowbiz - Emily Blunt has been saved from wardrobe malfunction. When attending the "Oppenheimer" photocall, the actress portraying Jean Tatlock in the Christopher Nolan-directed movie came close to flashing her chest to the crowd before her co-star Florence Pugh came to the rescue.

The fashion faux pas happened when Emily hit the red carpet at Trafalgar Square in London on Wednesday, July 12. At one point while standing next to Florence to pose for pictures, the 40-year-old actress had her low-neckline jacket unexpectedly popped open.

In photos making their rounds online, shocked Emily could be seen trying to hold her jacket in place when the malfunction struck. Upon seeing what happened, Florence quickly assisted in covering Emily from prying eyes. Several pictures captured the two having a good laugh due to the fashion emergency.

Florence's gesture in covering for Emily received many positive responses. In the replies section of a tweet that highlighted their red carpet interaction, one Twitter user exclaimed, "Florence Pugh is a real one for protecting Emily Blunt from a wardrobe malfunction."

For the "Oppenheimer" photocall, Emily put on a body fit sparkling golden blazer which came with black buttons and plunging neckline. The "Mary Poppins Returns" actress also wore a pair of fitted long matching wide leg pants, strappy ivory open-toe high heels and sparkling earrings. She let loose her shoulder-length blonde hair and parted it in the middle.

Florence, in the meantime, sported a long-sleeved blue one-piece Moschino suit that came with a plunging neckline. The suit had white sewing outlines. The length of her one-piece was long enough to cover the wearer's upper thighs. The "Don't Worry Darling" actress added a pair of white pointed-toe high heels, earrings and a sparkling choker-like necklace. She also flaunted her pink buzz cut hairdo.

Emily's near wardrobe malfunction came a few days after she announced her decision to take a break from acting. In a July 10 episode of "Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi" podcast, she spilled, "This year, I'm not working. I worked quite a bit last year and my oldest baby is nine, so we are in the last year of single digits."

"And I just feel [like] there are cornerstones to their day that are so important when they're little. And it's, 'Will you wake me up? Will you take me to school? Will you pick me up? Will you put me to bed?' And I just need to be there for all of them for a good stretch. And I just felt that in my bones," she explained.
