AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift and her ex Taylor Lautner are more cordial than ever. The Grammy-winning artist and the "Twilight" actor, who remain friends since their split more than a decade ago, shared an embrace onstage during his "Era's Tour" stop in Kansas City, Missouri.
The 33-year-old pop star and her former boyfriend hugged each other after he cartwheeled and backflipped onstage at the Friday, July 7 show. The backflip itself was a nod to the scene where he and his ex-girlfriend shared in the 2010 movie, "Valentine's Day".
This arrived after the surprise premiere of Swift's new music video for "I Can See You", which stars Lautner, Joey King as well as Presley Cash. On the same day, Swift's re-recording of her 2010 album "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" hit streaming services.
Before introducing her ex onstage, Swift said, "He was a very positive force in my life when I was making the 'Speak Now' album, and I want to say he did every single stunt that you saw in that music video." The songstress went on to note, "He and his wife have become some of my closest friends, and it's very convenient because we all share the same first name."
Lautner also had something nice to say to Swift. "I respect you so much. Not just for the singer you are, the songwriter, the performer - but truly for the human you are. You are gracious, humble, kind and I'm honored to know you," he raved.
As for his wife Taylor Dome, she sang praise to Swift through a sweet Instagram tribute. "The Tale of Three Taylors," she gushed alongside a photo of her, the musician and her husband. Dome also unleashed a throwback picture of when she met Swift in 2010.
"Everything that @taylorlautner said last night on stage is so true. @taylorswift you are not only one of the most talented people to ever walk this earth (truly don't think there is anything you can't do) but you are also one of THE kindest people," Dome added. "You welcomed my husband and I into your camp with open arms and the warmest heart."
Not stopping there, Dome elaborated, "The way you are so down to earth and authentically yourself after all these years of being in the spotlight is inspiring. Your passion for your work and genuine love for your fans is something so incredible." She then concluded, "I am honored to call you a friend."
