AceShowbiz - Anwar Hadid has seemingly moved on from Dua Lipa. The 24-year-old model sparked romance rumors with fellow model Sophia Piccirilli, with whom Anwar was photographed holding hands in New York City on Thursday, June 29.
In some pictures circulating online, Anwar and Sophia could be seen enjoying a stroll in New York City on Wednesday, June 29. For the outing, the pair opted for a casual look with Anwar wearing a dark green camouflage T-shirt with jeans, black lace-up boots and a beanie. As for Sophia, she went braless while donning a white tank top, gray sweatpants, sneakers and sunglasses.
Sophia also appeared to sport a hickey on the side of her neck. A source told Page Six that Anwar has been dating the redhead for several months. The redhead beauty also joined her beau at the Hadid family's home in Pennsylvania to celebrate his birthday.
Anwar's new romance came after he raised eyebrows with alarming messages on social media after Dua went public with her new boyfriend, Romain Gavras. "Trying to not to find and kill him," he captioned a selfie on his Instagram Story after the "Levitating" hitmaker and Romain walked the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival.
He later shared a mirror selfie and wrote, "I cant [sic] breath [sic]". In a separate post, Anwar penned, "I hate the way you say my name."
Anwar, however, denied that his Instragram Stories had anything to do with the "New Rules" hitmaker. "Crazy how the internet will just make whole articles about s**t they don't know anything about!!" the son of Yolanda Hadid wrote on Instagram Stories on Monday, May 22. He went on adding, "Yall are bored as f**k!!!! SORRY."
This is the first time for Anwar to be romantically linked with someone else after splitting from Dua. The pop star, meanwhile, briefly dated Trevor Noah and Jack Harlow before moving on with Romain.
