AceShowbiz - Katie Holmes apparently still cares about her ex Jamie Foxx despite their split years ago. The actress is reportedly "worried sick" about the Oscar-winning actor as she's completely "in the dark" about his condition following his hospitalization back in April.

As the 55-year-old has chosen to keep his health issue private, not many are made aware of his condition and Katie is reportedly as clueless as Jamie's fans are. "Katie is worried sick about Jamie," a source tells RadarOnline.com, before noting, "She and Jamie didn't end on the best of terms. But regardless, she is very concerned."

The so-called insider spills that the "Dawson's Creek" alum has been trying to reach out to their mutual friends, but her calls go "unanswered." The source adds, "Katie is desperate to find out more details but a lot of her calls to their mutual friends are going unanswered. No one knows what is going on."

Katie and Jamie dated from 2013 until 2019. Following their split, she moved on by dating chef Emilio Vitolo Jr. from 2020 to 2021. In 2022, she dated musician Bobby Wooten III for seven months.

Jamie was hospitalized in April while in Atlanta, where he was filming a new movie titled "Back in Action". In May, Jamie's daughter Corinne Foxx informed that her father "has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating" amid conflicting reports about his health.

The "Django Unchained" star has since been recovering in a top physical rehab center in Chicago. His "Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!" co-star Porscha Coleman recently shared a positive update on his condition when attending the 2023 BET Awards.

The 37-year-old actress told Entertainment Tonight on Sunday, June 25, "I've talked to people very close to Foxx. [He] is doing well. I hate that the media outlets kept running with the narrative of what was going on without having the proper information."
