'A lot of people say a lot of stupid things,' the father of the 'Hold It Against Me' singer's two sons responds to the online accusations made by the pop star's devotees.

AceShowbiz - Kevin Federline has broken his silence on rumors about him trying to extend child support from Britney Spears. Being accused of moving to Hawaii to exploit a loophole, the father of the "Hold It Against Me" singer's two sons slammed the claims by calling them "stupid."

In a video obtained by Page Six, the 45-year-old could be heard talking to a paparazzo about the matter while walking outside of a McDonald's on Monday, June 26. Denying the swirling speculations about him, he stated, "A lot of people say a lot of stupid things."

Kevin shares 17-year-old Sean Preston and 16-year-old Jayden James with Britney. Back in May, he was accused by Britney's fans of trying to make use of his move to Hawaii to extend child support. In the replies section of a tweet about Britney allowing her children to relocate, one user proposed, "He's doing this because the courts can force her to pay child support up to the age of 23 in Hawaii."

Similarly, another pointed out, "Kevin desperately wanting to move to Hawaii is definitely child support related." A third went as further as stating, "He's exploiting her for money." A fourth added, "Kevin Federline gets sued for not paying for the education of his kids and then decides to move to Hawaii where he can apply to get child support until Britney's boys are 23." "

Per Maples Family Law, payments for child support in Hawaii will continue to be paid until the child reaches the age of 23 as long as the child is enrolled in school. California, however, did not have rules that mandate child support to be paid after the child reaches the age of 18.

Accusations against Kevin flooded in after his lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, reportedly asked Britney's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, to respond to Kevin's relocation request for their two sons. The ultimatum was made because the custody matter allegedly hindered Kevin's wife, Victoria Prince, from accepting a job offer from a local university in Hawaii. They were said to be planning to relocate in July.

Kevin and Britney's son, Jayden, himself has previously made a comment about Britney's parenting skills. In September 2022, he told Daily Mail, "I think Mom has struggled giving us both attention and showing us equal love; I don't think she showed enough to Preston, and I feel really bad for that."
