AceShowbiz - It wasn't all love and fun for JT and Lil Uzi Vert at the 2023 BET Awards. While the likes of Summer Walker and Lil Meech as well as Ray J and Princess Love put on a united front on the red carpet, things got heated between JT and Lil Uzi during the Sunday, June 25 ceremony.

In a video filmed by one of the guests at the event, JT and Lil Uzi got into a heated altercation inside the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. The one half of City Girls appears to be upset as she shouted at her boyfriend, who was still sitting in their chair.

The "XO Tour Llif3" hitmaker then got up from their chair and talked back to his girlfriend while some of their crew members tried to calm them down. According to the person who posted the clip, JT was throwing her phone at Lil Uzi during their argument. She then walked off with Lil Uzi following behind.

It's unclear what caused the heated argument between the couple, who has been dating since 2019, but some social media users claimed that JT went off after Lil Uzi talked to Ice Spice. "jt upset cause ice spice the new princess of rap. i would've thrown the phone at uzi too," someone weighed in on a re-post of the video. Another added, "Over Ice Spice 'ALLEGEDLY'."

Ice Spice was indeed briefly seen in the video as she was standing a few feet apart from the quarreling couple, but the video didn't capture any alleged interaction between the "Munch (Feelin U)" raptress with Lil Uzi beforehand.

The fight aside, Lil Uzi was billed as one of performers at the 2023 BET Awards as they delivered a rendition of his 2022's song "Just Wanna Rock", during which the 27-year-old also gave a shout-out to Ice Spice. Meanwhile, JT was there to represent her group City Girls, who is nominated in Best Group category, as her groupmate Yung Miami was nowhere to be seen at the event.
