AceShowbiz - Natalie Nunn may get a little bit too excited at the 2023 BET Awards. The "Bad Girls Club" alum fangirled over femcee Ice Spice, who sat right in front of her, but Internet users thought that Natalie did too much.

In an Instagram Story video, Natalie filmed herself calling the "Boy's a Liar, Pt. 2" hitmaker, saying, "My baby Spice!" The latter turned her head and waved at the camera, before returning to have a conversation with someone next to her. Natalie, however, kept calling Ice Spice to no avail.

Natalie also posted another video, which saw her bragging about having one thing in common with the "In Ha Mood" raptress. "She's my sister and we've both Capricorns," Natalie shared. Ice Spice was also seen sweetly making a half heart gesture with her hand.

Upon watching the first video, some Internet users criticized Natalie for disturbing Ice Spice with her camera. "I hate people that don't know when to stop filming, like she turned and gave you face but shut up already," one critic wrote. "So awkward," one other commented.

"annoying want clout chaser from ice spice," another person said. Echoing the sentiment, someone else wrote, "she's annoying… like girl move…."

Ice Spice, meanwhile, stunned on the red carpet at the award-giving event at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 25. The 23-year-old star arrived in a sheer floor-length number that hugged her curves with her signature red mane.

This year marks the first time the New York rapper became a nominee at the awards ceremony as she's up for four categories. She's nominated for Best Collaboration for her hit "Boy's a Liar, Pt. 2" with Pinkpantheress, Best Female Hip Hop Artist, Best New Artist and BET Her.

Of her seemingly instant rise to fame, Ice Spice said in Teen Vogue's June issue, "I'm most proud of staying grounded so far, because I've already been through so many things that I know a lot of people would've lost their f**king minds." She added, "The whole lifestyle change is super drastic, especially coming from where I come from, not coming from s**t and not having a lot growing up, to now -- it's the complete opposite.... Even though it's a positive change, it's still a change."
