AceShowbiz - Rubi Rose did not hesitate to splurge a huge amount of money for her loved one. While celebrating Father's Day, the "He is in His Feelings" artist spoiled her dad with a special gift by sending him $10,000.
On Sunday, June 18, the 25-year-old let out a screenshot of a successful payment on her Instagram Story. In the snap, the amount of money she sent was $10,000. Along with the money transfer, she sent a note that read, "Happy Father's Day I Love You," and added a red heart emoji. Over the snap, she simply wrote, "Something light!"
On that same day, Rubi also shared a throwback photo of herself and her father. In the snap, the father and daughter duo could be seen sitting as they posed for pictures. Over the adorable picture, she noted, "Happy Fathers Day to my papa," and added a smiling face with heart eyes emoji.
The "I Like" raptress followed up the snap with a video of the two. She could be seen filming her father smoking. At one point, he was documented giving the smoking equipment to his daughter. The video further portrayed her standing in front of a huge mirror while holding her phone.
Rubi described her relationship with her father over the footage. She bluntly spoke, "The person who taught me not to give a f**k and do whatever tf I want." She then added a peace hand sign emoji.
Rubi sending quite a large amount of money to her father came a few months after a video of her went viral and sparked a controversy. In it, she left many social media users surprised as she discussed her thoughts on the use of the N-word by non-black people.
The hip-hop artist stated in the clip, "I'm personally okay with anybody saying it, as long as their intent isn't to be rude." On the reason why, she explained, " 'Cause I'm sure you have a lot of black people on your channel, you like black music probably."
"So, as long as the person isn't saying it with malicious intent, personally, 'cause I have Mexican homegirls and white homegirls who be saying it, I don't care about other people," she added.
