The 'That's What Friends Are For' hitmaker has to pull the plug on her June 24 show at Rivers Casino Des Plaines after experiencing issues with one of her legs.

AceShowbiz - Dionne Warwick was apparently in need of time to recover from a medical incident. Around a week before she was set to perform in Illinois, the "That's What Friends Are For" hitmaker was revealed to be experiencing issues with one of her legs, and was forced to cancel the scheduled June 24 concert.

While it was still unclear what Dionne suffered from, TMZ reported that the 82-year-old singer is in recovery, but would need time to fully recover. The outlet further detailed that the singer began having problems with one of her legs on Thursday, June 15.

Dionne's fans, per TMZ report, claimed to have received an email about the show cancellation on Thursday. "We regret to inform you that the Dionne Warwick performance on June 24, 2023 at Rivers Casino Des Plaines has been canceled due to a medical incident," the email read.

Sent by Rivers Casino Des Plaines, the original venue set for the June 24 gig, the email continued, "All ticket purchases will receive a full refund. Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to seeing you at another event in the future."

While Rivers Casino Des Plaines issued the cancellation announcement, Dionne and her team have not offered any information regarding her "medical incident" or her concert cancellation.

In the meantime, there are no words whether Dionne will also pull the plug on her June 22 show at The Klein Memorial Auditorium Bridgeport in Connecticut and her June 23 gig at Parx Xcite Center Bensalem in Pennsylvania. Still, per Dionne's website, her next live performance would be on July 21 in New York.

Dionne herself has previously revealed that she does not have "healthy habits." In a 2022 interview with Parade, she admitted, "I don't have things I call healthy habits. I go to the doctor when she calls. I eat what I want to eat. I haven't changed my diet, and while I don't exercise, I suppose I get a workout on stage every night. Most of all, I keep a positive attitude and don't allow stress into my life - it works for me."
