In the middle of performing '22' at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois for her 'Eras Tour', the 'All Too Well' songstress stops to invite a young fan to get on the stage.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift has blamed her brain for going "blank" during her performance. On Saturday night, June 3, the "All Too Well" songstress came close to bringing a "cute" young fan onto the stage, but quickly decided against her impulse due to safety reasons.

The 33-year-old got distracted by the young fan when she was performing "22" at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois for her "Eras Tour" stop. In a video that has surfaced online, she could be seen approaching the fan at the end of the stage catwalk, and put her iconic black hat on the fan's head.

Holding the fan's hand, the "Bad Blood" singer proceeded to invite the fan to get onto the stage with her. However, it did not take too long for her to realize her mistake and explain to the fan why she could not join her onstage. She then rejoined her dancers and went on with the performance.

It was not until Taylor was about to deliver her "All Too Well" song that she shared what happened with the other concertgoers. She said, as reported by Billboard, "My brain went completely blank. I was just like, 'You're so sweet and cute, come up on the stage.' "

Taylor continued elaborating on the funny incident, "She was confused. I was confused. So if anybody else was confused, that was because that child was so adorable that I tried to make her a part of the show." She further joked, "I had no control over it."

"I just had this inclination," she additionally shared with her concertgoers. "She's so cute that I wanted to like, I was just like 'I'm just gonna bring her on the stage, I'm just gonna hug her and put her on the stage.' And then I remembered we don't have a safe way to get her off the stage."

During her Chicago show, Taylor did not forget to praise those in attendance. "You're all so cute," she gushed. "I feel that way about a lot of you during the show. We make eye contact and you guys are like performing, passionately."

"There's a lot of really passionate performances happening in the audience of the show. Have you noticed that too? You look around you, you wanna be best friends with everyone. Yeah, that happens to me too," she continued.
