AceShowbiz - Austin Butler and Kaia Gerber are not walking down the aisle in the foreseeable future. Despite swirling rumor stating otherwise, the Golden Globe-winning actor and his model girlfriend are not engaged just yet.

The online buzz started after popular gossip outlet Deuxmoi posted on its Instagram page a supposed blind item which claimed that the "Elvis" star proposed to the 21-year-old catwalk beauty back in April. She reportedly happily accepted it, but they have been keeping it under wraps. Moreover, the outlet reported that the couple just bought a house together.

However, TMZ has begged to differ, citing a source allegedly close to the pair who clarifies that the two are not engaged.

Austin and Kaia have started dating since December 2021. They went public with their relationship at the 2022 Met Gala in New York City, after reportedly jetting off to Paris for Valentine's Day. She was also by his side during promotional tour for his critically-acclaimed movie "Elvis". They kissed for cameras at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival and joined him at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards in January, when he won a Best Actor award for his performance as Elvis Presley.

Recently, the 31-year-old hunk was spotted helping his girlfriend, who is the daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford, move into a new home. It's unclear if they are living together, but their relationship remains strong.

Back in March, after "The Carrie Diaries" alum lost the Best Actor award to Brendan Fraser at the 95th Academy Awards, the lovebirds enjoyed a romantic getaway in Mexico. They were caught packing on the PDA as they were sharing a passionate kiss in the picturesque waterfront locale.

The pair also appeared to have reading materials on hand during the daytime outing. The duo was later seen traveling around the resort in a golf cart headed to an outdoor meal.

Austin was previously in a longtime relationship with Vanessa Hudgens from 2011 until 2019, while Kaia's famous exes included Pete Davidson and Jacob Elordi.
