His wife Anne Stringfield gave birth to a daughter in 2012 after they got married in 2007. The "Only Murders in the Building" star has never publicly disclosed their daughter's name.
The 77-year-old comedian, however, did not regret becoming a first-time father in his elder years, saying it was "fantastic." He admitted, "I think if I'd had a child earlier, I would have been a lousy father because I would have misplaced my attention on my career." He further shared, "I am very forthcoming with her, and it's great," before adding, "She's giving me way more than I'm giving her."
