AceShowbiz - Tom Cruise is believed to have shared a "chemistry" with Shakira. After being spotted seemingly enjoying a good conversation with the "Hips Don't Lie" hitmaker at Formula One Miami Grand Prix, the leading man of "Top Gun: Maverick" is reported to have laid his eyes on her.
The 60-year-old Hollywood hunk brushed shoulders with the 46-year-old singer in a VIP area at the sports event on Sunday, May 7. Afterwards, a source gushed to Page Six about their meet-up, "He is extremely interested in pursuing her. There is chemistry."
"Shakira needs a soft pillow to fall on, and that could be Tom," the source went on to add. Explaining more on the speculative statement, the source further pointed out that Tom is "a nice-looking guy and he is talented." The source then wittingly pointed out an important factor as saying, "And she isn't taller than him."
A separate source, per Page Six, also offered a similar opinion about the possibility of romance brewing between Tom and Shakira. The source claimed that the "Mission: Impossible - Fallout" actor was so smitten by the Colombian songstress that he sent her flowers.
Tom's meet-up with Shakira happened when they attended the inaugural Formula One Miami Grand Prix. At that time, the twosome was captured standing close to each other as they chatted with each other.
On the occasion, the ex-husband of Katie Holmes sported a casual ensemble. He chose to wear an unbuttoned white polo shirt and a pair of dark-colored long pants. He finished off his ensemble with a pair of black aviator sunglasses.
Meanwhile, the ex-partner of Gerard Pique looked stunning in an all-green ensemble. She wore a tight top with multiple cuts and a pair of loose matching pants. She completed her look with a pair of black sunglasses.
Tom himself is a father to 30-year-old Isabella and 28-year-old Connor, whom he shares with ex-wife Nicole Kidman. He also has 17-year-old Suri with ex-wife Katie. Before being linked to Shakira, he was rumored to have a romantic relationship with his "Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One" co-star Hayley Atwell.
