AceShowbiz - Ariana Madix raised some eyebrows with her new Instagram Story post. The "Vanderpump Rules" star posted a group photo taken at a kickoff party for the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner on Friday, April 28, but fans noticed that the reality TV star cropped Meghan McCain out of the picture.
While fans thought that Ariana was being shady towards the former "The View" co-host, Ariana's representative called it a misunderstanding and the elimination of Meghan was "inadvertent." The Bravo personality's manager explained to Page Six, "I can tell you without a doubt that there is no agenda with this post whether political or otherwise. It's just how the post came out."
Meghan also posted the same picture on her Instagram page. The snap, which featured Lala Kent, Rebecca Romijn, Jerry O'Connell and NBCUniversal EVP Jennifer Geisser, saw Meghan standing just a few feet away from the Bravo star when the picture was taken. "When Bravo meets The Beltway!" so Meghan wrote in the caption.
Meghan also claimed that there's no bad blood between her and Ariana. "I had a wonderful time with Ariana, Lala and DailyMail.com. I can't believe I'm commenting on something so ridiculous," she noted to the news outlet. Ariana herself took to her Instagram Stories to clarify the "difference between a main feed and a zoomed IG story," adding, "We all know how aspect ratios work."
In related news, Roy Wood Jr., who hosted the event, made jokes about Ariana's ex Tom Sandoval's cheating scandal with co-star Raquel Leviss. While talking about Tucker Carlson's recent exit from FOX News, the Daily Show correspondent quipped, "Scandals have been devouring careers this year. Tucker got caught up. Got caught up like that dude from 'Vanderpump Rules'." Ariana seemed to love the joke as she was seen laughing while covering her mouth in an NBC News video.
