After stating that having kids with his singer girlfriend is 'the game plan,' the 'Boy Meets World' actor clarifies that he 'didn't mean to put any pressure on somebody' he's dating.

AceShowbiz - Matthew Lawrence is not putting pressure on his girlfriend Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas to carry his children. The actor has clarified his recent comments about his plans to have babies after they confirmed their relationship.

"It's such an interesting story," the 43-year-old told E! News' Adrienne Bailon-Houghton and Justin Sylvester. Referring to his older brother Joey Lawrence, he added, "Joe and I were commiserating about this plan that we had to have children together...when we were growing up."

"And I missed the first go around and now he's starting a new family and I was thinking, 'Man, it'd be great if we could do it again, when I didn't have the chance to raise a family together,' " he continued explaining. "So that's what I meant by that. I didn't mean to put any pressure on somebody I was dating or anything."

But when that happens, Matthew believes that Chilli would be an "incredible" mom. "She's an amazing person," he gushed over his singer girlfriend. "She's already a mother, she has an incredible son. I respect so much as to how she's raised him. She'd be an incredible mother again and I'd be incredibly lucky but that's way in the future."

Matthew made the baby comments in an interview with Entertainment Tonight earlier this month. When asked about whether he saw kids in the picture, he responded, "That's the game plan. That's what we're trying to do."

He added, "My life is in complete bloom right now. I get to spend time with an amazing woman like Chilli. I've never gotten to be able to experience that kind of relationship before. She's really, really special."

Matthew's ex Cheryl Burke later reacted to his comments. "He comes from a huge family and there were definitely conversations but I always had said, 'As long as I had to shove my body in a dance costume, me thinking about being pregnant probably isn't something I can talk about at the moment.' But yes, there were discussions about freezing my eggs," she said on "The Most Dramatic Podcast Ever With Chris Harrison".

The "Dancing with the Stars" pro-dancer later shared her hope that Matthew has his dream come true. "I really, truly hope he can actually have a kid with Chili. I think that's amazing. I think he's wanted that," she added.
