Taj Jackson says he doesn't feel bad for the 58-year-old comedian for getting slapped by Will Smith after the 'Grown Ups' star used his late uncle as 'punching bags' in 'Selective Outrage'.

AceShowbiz - Michael Jackson did not live to see the day he was getting roasted by Chris Rock, but his nephew has come to his defense. Taj Jackson has called out the comedian after the latter joked about the late singer in his Netflix special.

Accusing Chris of using the King of Pop "as punching bags for his entire career," the 49-year-old singer/songwriter took to Twitter to unload on the comic. "Chris Rock has used my family as punching bags for his entire career. Yet I am supposed to feel bad for him getting slapped and humiliated on the Oscars," he reacted to Chris' comedy special on Monday, March 6.

"After seeing a new clip of him attacking my dead uncle in the first minutes of his 'Retaliation-I'm still relevant 'special, I have 3 things to say," Taj, who is the first child of Tito Jackson, detailed his outrage. "1. What did my family ever do to you to warrant these decades of harassment and your constant bullying disguise as jokes?"

He continued, "2. Just because you were bullied early on in life doesn't give you the excuse to bully others now." Taking Will Smith's side after the actor slapped Chris at last year's Oscars, Taj concluded his tweet with, "Thank you Will Smith."

In "Chris Rock: Selective Outrage" which streamed live on Saturday, March 4, Chris compared MJ to R. Kelly when criticizing cancel culture. "I have no problem with the wokeness. I have no problem with it at all. I'm all for social justice. I'm all for marginalized people getting their rights," so he claimed.

"The thing I have a problem with is the selective outrage," the "Saturday Night Live" alum explained. "You know what I'm talking about. One person does something, they get canceled. Somebody else does the exact same thing, nothing. You know what I'm talking about ... the kind of people who play Michael Jackson songs but won't play R. Kelly. Same crime, one of them just has better songs."

Michael was accused of child abuse, but was acquitted on all counts after a trial in 2005. R. Kelly, on the other hand, was found guilty of sexually abusing women, boys and girls for decades in September 2021 and was sentenced to 30 years in prison. He was also found guilty of child pornography in September 2022.
