AceShowbiz - Maddie Ziegler and Eddie Benjamin have gone their separate ways. The "Dance Moms" alum and her musician boyfriend reportedly broke up after more than three years together.

Revealing the 20-year-old and the Australian singer's relationship status was PEOPLE. It remains unclear why was the reason for their split.

Maddie and Eddie began dating in 2019, but they decided to go public with their romance in March 2020. When opening up about their relationship, Maddie told Entertainment Tonight last year, "I feel very excited every day that I get to date him."

"We have such a good time together and we were best friends for a really long time before we dated," she added. "It's like I'm just hanging out with my best friend every day. It's really fun. It's honestly the best. I love it."

Maddie also admitted that she didn't expect to date another celebrity. "I always was like, 'Oh, I'll never date someone that's in the industry,' just because it's intense, but we inspire each other," she said. "He definitely inspires me every day, and he says that about me, which I'm like, 'Hopefully.' "

"He's just been so supportive," the dancer, who starred in Sia Furler's music videos for "Chandelier" and "Elastic Heart", further elaborated. "I'm just his biggest fan. I can't wait for people to hear his music because it's just absolutely insane."
