When hosting the Thursday, February 9 show at Symphony Hall, Phoenix, the 'Since U Been Gone' hitmaker wore a floor-length dress featuring a Dallas Cowboys theme.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Clarkson seemingly had a great time hosting NFL Honors 2023. However, the "Since U Been Gone" singer was dragged on Twitter for wearing a floor-length dress featuring a Dallas Cowboys theme for the Thursday, February 9 show.

Upon learning of the singer's outfit, one Twitter user wrote, "No Kelly, we do not like your stupid gown. No." Another argued, "Kelly is pissing me off with this gown [crying emoji] #NFLHonors."

"I swear if Josh Allen doesn't get MVP or McDermott doesn't get coach of the year and I suffered thru watching Kelly Clarkson host the #NFLHonors for nothing," a third added. "I'm rioting like we would of Buffalo won the Super Bowl."

The criticism continued with one noting, "@kellyclarkson finished last in her fantasy league. Her punishment was wearing this dress." Someone else, meanwhile, was irritated by her jokes, "Kelly Clarkson joked with Jason and Travis Kelce's mother about her sons being in the Super Bowl. She said after giving birth to them with their head size I think you've got this. I can't decide if I should cringe or laugh. #NFLHonors."

During her monologue at Symphony Hall, Phoenix, Kelly playfully trolled the Dallas Cowboys because it hasn't won a title since the 1990s. "Did you all know there are more playoffs games after the divisional round? As a Cowboys fan, I though they stopped doing that in the 1990s," she quipped.

"The Kelly Clarkson Show" host went on to make a reference to the kicking issues Dallas had with Brett Maher in Tampa Bay. "They said 'Kelly stick to the big story, no subplots, no extra points' just like the Cowboys."
