The 38-year-old basketball pro player passed Kareem's mark of 38,387 during a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday, February 7.

AceShowbiz - LeBron James has unlocked a new achievement in his life. Having become NBA's all-time scoring leader, the Los Angeles Lakers star received congratulatory messages from a number of celebrities.

LeBron broke Kareem-Abdul Jabbar's three-decade-long record during a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Crypto.com Arena. The 38-year-old passed Kareem's mark of 38,387 after 20 seasons and 1,410 games in total.

A list of musicians has since congratulated LeBron in a compilation video shared by NBA on TnT. One in particular was Kendrick Lamar, who gushed, "From the time you went to the league when you had the doubters and the naysayers and people that think you wouldn't take it this far you proved 'em wrong, dawg."

Rihanna raved, "I am so grateful to witness this moment in history… my favorite thing about being a LeBron James fan is just watching you prove yourself over and over again against all odds and all doubt." She added, "Thank you for repping for all of us. Keep striving for greatness always, and congratulations King James."

Modeling a Lakers jersey, Snoop Dogg declared, "It's always fun watching a Laker get it done." Drake then chimed in, "What a legendary night in NBA history."

Fellow basketball athletes also sang praises for LeBron. Stephen Curry said, "Congratulations on becoming the NBA's all-time leading scorer." Anthony Davis stated, "Truly honored to be part of it as a teammate." Kevin Durant noted, "It's been an inspiration since day one."
