The 'Your Place or Mine' co-stars make headlines after they are seen keeping their distance from each other on the red carpet of the Los Angeles premiere of their movie.

AceShowbiz - Mila Kunis has called out her husband Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon over their recent red carpet appearance. The "Luckiest Girl Alive" actress even emailed her spouse and his "Your Place or Mine" co-star for looking awkward when posing for the cameras together.

Making the revelation was Reese in the Monday, February 6 episode of "Today with Hoda & Jenna". The 46-year-old divulged, "She even emailed us last night... She goes, 'You guys look so awkward on the red carpet together.' It's just fun 'cause when you know a girlfriend so much, it was just fun to get to know her significant other 'cause I've loved her for so long."

In the said photos from the Los Angeles premiere, Reese and Ashton kept distance from each other. They also kept their hands to themselves and reluctantly smiled at the cameras.

After the images made their way on the Internet, fans couldn't help but offer their two cents. "I choose to believe the Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon romcom is about to be so spicy they needed to look like they hated each other for the press tour to avoid drama," one person wrote on Twitter.

Another, meanwhile, made a reference to the famous Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain armpit-smelling moment as the gold standard for romantic leads promotion. "Actors playing romantic leads always need to go to the oscar isaac and jessica chastain's school of promotion cause…what is this," the person opined.

Despite the awkwardness, Reese hinted that she loves working with Ashton. "He's so professional. He's the funniest guy," she told hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager. "I mean, such a goofball. We had so much fun, and every time he'd wear a funny outfit, I'd text Mila. I'd be like, 'What is he wearing?' "

The "Legally Blonde" leading lady went on to share that she and the actor had to "learn to be friends" before filming the film because they didn't really know each other well. Noting that they started talking everyday and sending each others videos, she recalled, "I was like, 'These are my dogs. These are my kids.' ... My kids would tease him about his football team."
