Uzi offers his two cents after DJ Drama declares in a recent interview that the emcee's 'Just Wanna Rock' 'has replaced - with all due respect - 'Dreams and Nightmares'.'

AceShowbiz - Lil Uzi Vert has responded to DJ Drama's comment about him and Meek Mill. The "Just Wanna Rock" rapper didn't agree with the DJ's statement saying that his 2022 single has replaced Meek's "Dreams and Nightmares" for Philadephia's anthem.

DJ Drama made the statement when speaking to TMZ. "I think it's fair to say that 'Just Wanna Rock' has replaced - with all due respect - 'Dreams and Nightmares' as the new anthem of Philadelphia. As the new anthem of the Philadelphia Eagles this year," he said. "I'm looking forward to hearing that song many, many times [during] Super Bowl weekend."

Catching wind of the comment, Uzi said per TheShadeRoom, "I don't think so." The emcee added, "That song like been around for a very long time, and that song is still hitting exactly the same way. I'm just gonna have to see, you know, in a couple of years or a decade or whatever."

The boyfriend of JT went on to show love to his pal. "[Meek] that's a big Homie from Philly, and that's like one of my big homies. So I just like feed off the energy that he gives actually to be able to even produce or put out that type of music," he explained. "So like, hopefully, like s**t, hopefully. He [Meek] would hope that for me too. Not yet though it's too early to tell."

Meek himself has weighed in on the matter. Insisting that "Dreams & Nightmares" has staying power, the "Expensive Pain" artist wrote on Twitter, "Intro been lighting the world for 10 years! Like shaking rooms for years!"
