AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift and Harry Styles are proving that some exes never go out of style. The former couple was spotted all smiles while having a friendly conversation during the 2023 Grammy Awards.
In a clip obtained by Us Weekly, the pop stars could be seen chatting it up inside the Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, February 5. The "Anti-Hero" singer and the newly-single "As It Was" crooner were also snapped laughing and leaning in while engaging in the conversation while Steve Lacy performed his hit single "Bad Habit".
Earlier that night, Taylor, who took home the Best Music Video award for the 10-minute version of her song "All Too Well", supported her ex, giving him a standing ovation for his Best Pop Vocal Album win.
When Harry's name was called as the winner, Taylor jumped to her feet and applauded the former One Direction member while sporting a big smile across her face. Taylor was also seen dancing to Harry's "As It Was" performance, in footage obtained by Page Six.
Taylor and Harry first sparked dating rumors back in December 2012. At the time, they were photographed getting cozy in New York City's Central Park. That same month, they were caught kissing in Times Square as the ball dropped on New Year's Eve before jet-setting to visit their families for the holidays.
Unfortunately, the romance didn't stay for a long time as they reportedly called it quits in early 2013. Then in 2014, Taylor made headlines when she released her first pop album, "1989". The record featured an array of tracks, including "Out of the Woods" and "Style", that left fans speculating she was singing about her seemingly rocky relationship with Harry.
Taylor herself never officially confirmed her music was about Harry but she has heavily teased the meaning behind the songs. In December 2014, Taylor opened up about her inspiration behind the tracks.
" 'Style' is actually about those relationships that are never really done," she shared at the time, "You always kind of have that one person who you feel like might interrupt your wedding and be like, 'Don't do it, we're not over yet.' I think everybody has that one person who kind of floats in and out of their life and the narrative is never truly over."
For his part, Harry shared his thoughts on seemingly being the subject of Taylor's music during his 2017 interview with Rolling Stone. "I'm lucky if everything [we went through] helped create those songs," he said.
Harry also stressed that he's not sure if the songs are about him. "That's what hits your heart. That's the stuff that's hardest to say, and it's the stuff I talk least about. That's the part that's about the two people," he elaborated.
