AceShowbiz - DJ Mustard and his ex-wife have reached a temporary deal on child support. It was unveiled that the record producer agreed to pay Chanel Thierry $18,342 per month starting in February.
Court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com stated that the exes reached an agreement on Tuesday, January 31. Chanel, however, previously demanded $82,628 per month to cover support for all their three kids, Kiylan, Kauner and Kody.
Mustard, who began dating Chanel when he was 19 years old, filed for divorce from her in the Los Angeles County Courts back in May 2022. He cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their separation. He also asked a judge to order joint legal and physical custody of their three young children.
The model herself has confirmed her split on Instagram Story. "Thank you for the kind words, thoughts, and prayers," she penned at the time. "Anyone that followed me or knows me personally knows my family means the world to me... I've [dedicated] 12 loyal years and it is more [than] heartbreaking to see things end."
Mustard has also addressed his divorce, denying that they split due to infidelity on his or his wife's part. "It's one thing to have my family business on the internet," he wrote on his Instagram Story, "and of course I initially didn't respond cause I don't owe the public no explanation."
Shutting down the cheating allegations, the DJ continued, "but I do owe my family to clear these false narrative that @chaneldijon cheated that's out and that never happened !" He further stressed, "Also the I fake dealt with my stylist come on now we all know that's a joke I'd never touch that girl EVER."
