AceShowbiz - Jana Kramer finally goes Instagram official with her soccer star boyfriend Allan Russell. The "One Tree Hill" alum made use of her Instagram account to introduce her new beau, two years after her divorce from Mike Caussin.
On Sunday, January 29, she treated her fans to a happy picture of her and Allan. The photo featured herself laughing while Allan hugged her. "Back where it all started," Jana wrote in the caption. "Also this is so us…trying to take a photo."
Fans and friends quickly showed support for Jana in the comments section. Jessie James Decker wrote, "This [love emoji]." Melissa Gorga also left some face with heart eyes emojis in her comment.
"Happy for you Jana. For everyone else with the negative comments it's Jana's life and she can bring whomever she wants to her home that she pays for," one fan penned. "You aren't paying her bills, sleeping in her bed nor feeding her so mind your on business and let her live her life. It's obvious the kids are happy and healthy so she's doing something right. Women need to build each other up not trying to rip thrm apart."
One other added, "Everyone deserves happiness! If people don't have anything nice to say they shouldn't say anything at all. Jana seems like a very sweet person, she seems like great mother, and she deserves to be happy and build a family for her children. Don't listen to the haters!"
The Instagram post came in the wake of her teasing her new romance with the Scottish former pro athlete in the January 22 episode of her "Whine Down" podcast. "Everyone knows that I have a boyfriend, that's already out there," she shared at the time. Discussing her hesitation with posting him on social media, she added, "We talked about it. It was just maybe when we're together next."
She admitted that she initially hesitated to post a picture of her new boyfriend due to possible reactions of her 2 million followers. "People are going to be mean regardless, so I think it's just one of those things where I'm like, 'Who cares?' " Jana explained. "We're in a good place. People will be mean regardless whether I post it, not post it, hold onto it for six months. They're gonna say the same thing, 'Oh this is gonna last.' "
Jana, who shares kids Jolie and Jace with former NFL player Mike, also noted that she now has a different mindset when it comes to public romances. "Even if it doesn't work out, I'm not going to feel embarrassed," she said. "I have been so publicly embarrassed with relationships. A lot of that I own. That's my fault because I've been open about them, so that's why I've been trying to stay more private."
