AceShowbiz - Liam Hemsworth and his girlfriend Gabriella Brooks look like they didn't have a care in the world as his ex Miley Cyrus' "Flowers" is all the rage. The couple was spotted all smiles during a shopping spree in Beverly Hills while Miley's new breakup song tops charts.
On Saturday, January 28, "The Hunger Games" actor treated his model girlfriend to some retail therapy on Rodeo Drive. During the fun day out, they could not stop smiling and laughing.
The 33-year-old actor looked chic in a black jeans jacket over a white T-shirt, which he paired with sunglasses. Meanwhile, the 26-year-old beauty opted for a brown jacket, black miniskirt and gray crop top. The long-term couple appeared to be in good spirits and were seen carrying some bags around during the outing.
The pair have been going strong since they first sparked romance rumors way back in December 2019. In September last year, a source told HollywoodLife.com that the "topic of marriage has been broached" between the couple, "but it took Liam a long time to get married before and he's not planning on rushing into anything," referencing his first marriage to his ex Miley.
Speaking of Miley, the outing for the adorable couple came as her new song "Flowers", deemed a breakup anthem about Liam, has been topping the charts since it was released two weeks ago. Fans can't seem to speculate enough about the new jam as it also debuted on Liam's birthday, January 13.
Lyrics like "I can love me better" might also hint at the tension in their marriage, which was evident in an awkward red carpet moment at the "Avengers: Endgame" premiere in May 2019. While posing for photos together, Miley pretended to lick Liam, who appeared to look uncomfortable. He later asked her to "behave for once," according to MTV. Miley appeared to be pissed off as she pushed Liam away and posed for solo photos. Aside from that, fans said that in the MV, the pop star replicated a dance she did at an event she attended with Liam. It's also rumored that the visual featured a motel used by Liam to take "14 other women while he was married to Miley."
Miley and Liam got married in 2018 after an on-again/off-again romance for almost a decade following their initial meeting on the set of 2009's "The Last Song". However, the marriage was short-lived and they divorced just eight months later, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind their separation.
