Ventura County Sheriff's Office confirms that the 'Oops!…I Did It Again' songstress is not in 'any kind of harm or any kind of danger' after fans called the department for a wellness check.

AceShowbiz - Britney Spears is safe and sound. Ventura County Sheriff's Office informed Page Six on Wednesday, January 25 that the "Toxic" hitmaker is not in "any kind of danger" after concerned fans called them for a wellness check.

"I can confirm that we did get calls into our dispatch," a police spokesperson stated. "And essentially, I can confirm that we don't believe that Britney Spears is in any kind of harm or any kind of danger."

The officer, however, has yet to reveal how many calls they received. The police also said they would not divulge whether they made direct contact with the 41-year-old pop star.

Of the reason why they refused to provide more details, the officer said, "It's just a privacy thing for the residents in our county." He added, "It's a public trust issue. We just don't disclose those kinds of things [such as wellness checks]. It's not a crime."

"We don't really talk about any kind of mental health issues or anything like that," he noted, before stressing, "I can't confirm or deny that deputies went to her house, but we don’t believe that Britney Spears is in any kind of harm or danger at this point."

Some of Britney's fans made the calls to police on Tuesday. In a TikTok video, a woman named Christina could be heard saying, "I was calling because I am worried about the physical safety of a resident in your area... There's been suspicious activity online and now her account has been deleted."

Britney deleted her Instagram once again, days after she changed her name to River Red. Prior to that, the "Gimme More" songstress gave the finger in an Instagram clip after it was reported she had a "manic" meltdown at a restaurant that saw her husband Sam Asghari storm away.
