In a new episode of her 'Unlocked' podcast, the daughter of the 'Chrisley Knows Best' couple opens up about how she's dealing with the matter, admitting that her life is 'falling apart.'

AceShowbiz - Savannah Chrisley is having a hard time after her famous parents Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley entered prison for their tax evasion and bank fraud scheme. In a new episode of her "Unlocked" podcast, Savannah opened up about how she's dealing with the matter.

"So for those of you that are familiar with my family and have followed our lives and have also followed my podcast, you know that last week was an extremely difficult week for my family as a whole and for each of us individually," the 25-year-old shared in the Tuesday, January 24 episode.

The former "Chrisley Knows Best" star went on saying, "We kind of had to say goodbye to my parents for a little bit of time, for the foreseeable future. And that was really, really, really tough."

Savannah also explained why she felt the need to address her "happy-go-lucky" attitude in the episode, which was recorded on her mom's birthday before she reported to jail. "The podcast that is going to be airing today that you're watching was filmed prior to my life falling apart, so it may seem happy-go-lucky," the 25-year-old explained. "I think it's because there was a lot of hope that was had and I wasn't faced with the reality of the situation."

Additionally, she revealed that next week's episode of "Unlocked" will dive deep into how she and her family are doing now now that their famous parents are no longer physically present with them. "I'm really looking forward to giving that update because I've seen God work in the craziest of circumstances. … Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for supporting me, my family and 'Unlocked'," she noted.

After being found guilty of fraud and tax evasion in June 2022, Todd and Chrisley were sentenced to a combined 19 years behind bars. The couple reported to two separate prisons on January 17. Todd is serving his 12-year sentence at the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida. Meanwhile, Julie is doing her 7-year sentence at Federal Medical Center Lexington in Kentucky.
