Last week, the 'In Da Club' rapper sued The Shade Room, accusing the gossip site of committing 'a clear act of defamation' by reposting a photo of him and MedSpa owner Angela Kogan.

AceShowbiz - 50 Cent is never one to back down from a fight but it looks like he's taken a different direction. The "In Da Club" rapper, along with his legal team, is taking his penis enlargement-related lawsuit to mediation.

According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, the "Power" co-creator, born Curtis J. Jackson, and his legal counsel have filed a motion requesting mediation. Per the paperwork, the motion was evidently granted and all parties are expected to convene on February 28.

"Plaintiff Curtis J. Jackson, III p/k/a 50 Cent ('Jackson') and Defendants Angela Kogan and Perfection Plastic Surgery, Inc. d/b/a Perfection Plastic Surgery & MedSpa ('MedSpa')1 will hold the mediation conference in this matter before Mark E. Stein, Esq. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. by video conference," the legal papers read. "The mediator and Jackson, [Angela] and MedSpa have agreed to this date."

Fif filed his lawsuit in September last year, alleging that Angela and her Perfection Plastic Surgery & MedSpa used a photo that he took at the establishment to suggest he was a client and received some type of penile procedure.

Angela denied the allegations placed on her and her business and wasted no time asking to dismiss the case arguing that 50 Cent was a client and agreed to the use of the image as payment for the work he allegedly had done.

In addition to her claims, Angela argued that the Instagram post using the said picture was intended to thank Fif for visiting her office and not actually endorsing it. The emcee, on the other hand, said that he only agreed to take the photo because he believed Angela was a fan.

Earlier this month, Angela's attorneys accused Fiddy of blaming the wrong entity for spreading false information about him having allegedly undergone a penis enlargement procedure. According to court documents, the defense attorneys claimed rumors about the alleged procedure were spread due to gossip outlet The Shade Room publishing a photo of Fif and Angela together.

Fif then sued the gossip site, filing the paperwork last week. He stated that The Shade Room propelled the story forward by reposting it and opening him up to "ridicule." The docs read, "By publishing the article and falsely stating or implying that Jackson had received plastic surgery procedures from [Angela] or MedSpa, or the penile enhancement or other procedures described in the article, TSR committed a clear act of defamation."

"The article was particularly egregious because TSR believed it was publishing Jackson's private medical information, which is not newsworthy or a subject of public interest. [Angela] and MedSpa now claim that The Shade Room unilaterally took and used the photo of Jackson for the article without [Angela] or MedSpa's permission," it added. "Plaintiff separately seeks compensatory damages as well as injunctive relief, a retraction and an apology from TSR."

If the mediation between 50 Cent and Angela fail to result in a resolution, the case will go to trial in July.
