AceShowbiz - Jennifer Coolidge is the latest celebrity to join TikTok. When making her debut on the social media platform, "The White Lotus" star used Jenny From the Block impression by Jennifer Lopez.
In a video shared on Thursday, January 19, the 61-year-old greeted her fans, "Hi... This is my first TikTok." The Golden Globe winner, who was seated in front of a green screen, added, "I was trying to think of something cool to do, and I think I'm just gonna do a poem that I like."
Coolidge went on to recite the lyrics to Lopez's hit song, "Jenny from the Block." She declared, "Don't be fooled by the rocks that I got. I'm still Jenny -- Jenny -- Jenny from the block."
The Karen Calhoun depicter on "The Watcher" later pointed the camera at her "Shotgun Wedding" co-star. "I like that. I really really like that," the "On the Floor" hitmaker said.
Coolidge has been celebrating her career resurgence thanks to her portrayal of Tanya on "The White Lotus". On January 15, she won the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series prize at the Critics Choice Awards. Prior to that, she won the Best Supporting Actress - Television Limited Series/ Motion Picture accolade at this year's Golden Globes.
Speaking of her achievements, Coolidge told Entertainment Tonight, "I feel so alive, you know?" She continued, "You go through your life, and you sort of just assume you're used to going a certain way and you just take on whatever that baggage is and that it's never going to change."
Coolidge then offered further praise to creator Mike White for the way he had changed her life. She gushed, "I didn't get to, you know, I thanked him and many other things. My life was changed overnight, and I could not be more grateful."
