AceShowbiz - Kyrie Irving made headlines once again with his generous act. The NBA star was unveiled to have given a huge donation to a Howard University student who needed $6,000 to pay for her tuition.

The 30-year-old sent out the cash to Destiny Thompson, a Civil Engineering major and Mathematical minor from New Jersey. Though Destiny only wanted to raise less than $10,000 to cover her tuition, the athlete gave her $22,000 on her GoFundMe page.

Grateful for Kyrie's act, Destiny shared a video on Facebook and said, "I cried just a lot of tears." She added, "I'm at work, y'all. I don't understand, like, I can't really wrap my head around how like generous people can be. I am so thankful for everybody that shared it, everybody that had liked, commented and gave me encouraging words, and just kind of helped me keep going and essentially."

"I'm just so, so happy, and I'm so thankful. I never thought in a million years that anybody would give me anything, and I'm so super grateful," the student added. "And I want to say thank you 1,000 times for blessing me like this Mr. Kyrie Irving. I really don't know. I'm in shock still. I'm at work wiping down registers."
