AceShowbiz - Floyd Mayweather, Jr. has earned praise for his recent generous act. Many on social media applauded the former professional boxer after he gave a group of five kids $1,000 each as an early Christmas gift.

According to TMZ Sports, the 45-year-old handed out the cash following the Clippers' 113-93 victory over the Celtics at Crypto.com Arena. The kids looked so grateful as they said in a video re-shared by Hollywood Unlocked, "Thank you, Uncle Floyd!"

"You always help us out when we see you," one of the kids said to the camera. The other one then exclaimed, "We love you, Floyd."

The video has since been flooded with positive feedback. One fan commented, "Say what y'all want about Floyd, but he’s really a good person. I love him. Another gushed, "That was so kind of him," adding one red heart emoji.

A third chimed in, "He a humble person. And he don't like being recorded while he’s giving to people." One person claimed, "I've worked somewhere where he is a regular visitor and tbh he tips the department handsomely. He is generous." Someone else supported the sentiment, "he's really like that tho in real life!!!!"

This is actually not the first time Floyd met these kids. Back in October, they ran up to the "Dancing with the Stars" alum at the Ritz-Carlton in Los Angeles trying to sell him some candy. Not only did the boxing promoter give them $100 each at the time, but he also allowed them to interview him. He even gave the kids tickets to the Clippers game against the Pelicans.
