In his statement, Kevin Hunter Jr. cites the former 'The Wendy Williams Show' host's failing health as the main reason for being unable to pay the lavish rent.

AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams' son was kicked out of his $2 million apartment in Miami. If a new report is to be believed, Kevin Hunter Jr. was hit with an eviction lawsuit after his mom "can't pay his rent."

The Sun obtained the court documents which were filed in August. The paperwork included a copy of the signed lease that began in March 2021 and ended the following year in February. The lease transactions showed a year's worth of rent prepaid by the former daytime TV queen, in addition to a security deposit and other lease-related fees. In total, she spent over $100,000 on her son's apartment.

Kevin Jr. was supposed to pick up the payments in February, however, he was unable to do so after losing access to his mother's fortune. In his statement, Kevin Jr. insisted that his mother rented the apartment and cited her failing health as the reason for being unable to make the lavish rent.

"My mom went through some health issues that put the court in control of her finances," so Kevin Jr. stated. He added that "all of the financial support that she always gave stopped," including his housing.

Kevin Jr. further noted that he's currently in school full-time but had to take a full year off due to COVID-19 and take care of Wendy. "For medical and legal reasons, she has not been able to pay the rent for the past months since the 1-year lease ended and the court controlled her finances," the 22-year-old explained, adding, "Everything happened very quickly and unexpectedly and I had no idea things would end up like this." He later declared that he would be moving out on September 7.

So far, it's unknown where Kevin Jr. stays as previously it's reported that Wendy didn't allow him to live in her New York City penthouse. Wendy's brother, Tommy Williams, dropped the bombshell allegation in a 24-minute video he posted in July.

Kevin Jr. is not the only person whose living conditions have been impacted by Wendy being placed under financial guardianship. Wendy's ex, Kevin Hunter Sr., claimed he could face foreclosure if his alimony payments don't resume.

"I have fallen behind on most of my bills. I currently live in a community that requires payments to the homeowners association and I'm behind on that bill," he stated in a motion. He continued, "My car insurance hasn't been paid as a result of not receiving monthly severance payments. I'm behind on credit card payments because I have no money since the severance payments were suspended. My life has been greatly affected since the plaintiff stopped making payments under our settlement agreement."

Further explaining his decision, Kevin Sr. wrote via Instagram Story, "This don't have nothing to do with Wendy but has everything to do with the people trying to steal Hard earned money that I worked for and help build." He added, "I have a slew of experts to help substantiate all my claims and I'm tired of the bulls**t."

Kevin went on, "I didn't forfeit as much as I did for my son to go through this." Kevin, who was an executive producer on "The Wendy Williams Show", then concluded his message as saying, "Miss me with the double standard s**t as well ITS ON!!!!"

Wendy is currently set for a widely anticipated comeback, following the end of her iconic talk show "The Wendy Williams Show", with the upcoming release of her podcast called "The Wendy Williams Experience". The premiere date has yet to be announced.
