'The Voice' Recap: Top 5 Are Revealed Ahead of Season 22 Finals

In the new episode of the long-running NBC singing competition show, the remaining 8 singers learn their fates as only 5 of them will be sent to the Finals next week.

AceShowbiz - The results of "The Voice" season 22 Semi-Finals were revealed in the Tuesday, December 6 episode. The remaining 8 singers would learn their fates since only 5 of them would advance to the Finals next week.

Before the first set of results were announced, coach Blake Shelton took the stage to perform his new single "Nobody". It was then revealed that the first singer making it into the finale was Team Blake's Bryce Leatherwood.

John Legend then hit the stage to deliver a performance of his piano ballad "Nervous". Host Carson Daly later announced that joining Bryce in the finale were Morgan Myles from Team Camila Cabello and Bodie from Team Blake.

There was only one more finalist to find out before the other four had to compete once again in Instant Save. Before that, Carly Pearce entertained everyone with a special performance of "What He Didn't Do".

Team Blake's Brayden Lape was named as the fourth finalist, meaning that all three of Blake's artists made it to the Finals. Meanwhile, Team John's Parijisita Bastola, Omar Jose Cardona and Kim Cruise as well as Team Gwen Stefani's Justin Aaron fought each other for the fifth spot in the finale through Instant Save.

Parijita was the first singer to perform, singing "Make You Feel My Love". John thought it was "gorgeous," praising her for singing with poise and grace despite the overwhelming pressure. As for Kim, she opted for "All by Myself" and earned praises from John for her powerful voice.

Justin followed it up with a performance of "Made My Way". Gwen loved how Justin was deeply connected to the song, calling it a powerful performance. Lastly, Omar hoped he would get the final spot in the finale with his performance of "You and I". He made all four coaches on their feet by the end of his performance. John said he was "stunned" by the performance.

It was time to reveal the result of the Instant Save. Carson announced that America voted Omar to join Brayden, Bryce, Bodie and Morgan in Top 5.
