The 'GMA 3' co-hosts reportedly had a months-long affair before they were caught getting cozy to each other despite being married to their respective spouses.

AceShowbiz - Amy Robach is staying away from social media amid her affair scandal involving her colleague T.J. Holmes. The "Good Morning America" anchor has shut down her Instagram page after news broke of her alleged secret romance with her co-host.

The 49-year-old reporter deactivated her account on Wednesday afternoon, November 30 after she had limited comments when fans noticed she had removed her wedding band and stopped posting photos of her husband Andrew Shue.

T.J.'s Instagram account has also been deactivated, although Page Six notes that he made the move before his relationship with Amy made headlines.

According to reports, Amy and T.J.'s steamy relationship began in March when they began training together for the New York City Half Marathon, which Amy ran with her husband Andrew. They have been since spotted getting affectionate on many occasions, both in indoor and outdoor settings.

A series of pictures obtained by Daily Mail show the pair getting flirty post-filming sessions at a New York City bar. After Amy's husband Andrew and T.J.'s wife Marilee Fiebig learned of their secret romance, the pair reportedly separated from their respective spouses in August.

While they were still keeping their relationship hush hush, Amy and T.J. continued having secret rendezvous. Two weeks before Thanksgiving, they went on a getaway to a remote cottage where the former CNN anchor was pictured giving his lover a playful squeeze from behind as she packed up the car.

While they did not spend Thanksgiving together, Amy and T.J. wasted no time reuniting after Thanksgiving. The pair took an Uber to T.J.'s place and they held hands in the back of the car on the way to his apartment.

"They have a very cozy relationship on air, but that is what is expected. But they were very careful behind the scenes to keep their affair secret," a source told Daily Mail. "The producers at 'GMA' are shocked to hear they are having an affair."

Neither Amy nor T.J. has spoken up on the affair rumors. Amy has been married to Andrew since 2009, while T.J. married Atlanta-area attorney Marilee in 2010. They both joined "GMA" in 2014 and have been co-hosts of the show's lunchtime segment "GMA3".
