AceShowbiz - Julia Fox has weighed in on the complicated situation involving Kim Kardashian amid Balenciaga controversy. In a new TikTok video, the ex-girlfriend of Kanye West seemingly defended the reality TV star, who was dragged over her partnership with the luxury brand after it was accused of sexualizing children in its latest campaign.

"First things first, I'm not their spokesperson," Julia said in the clip, which was shared on Monday, November 28. "I have zero relationship with the brand, I haven't even been to one of their shows - they haven't invited me."

The "Uncut Gems" actress then said, "Regardless, I think it's horrific and when I was reading and watching all the videos I literally felt sick to my stomach." She continued, "But I couldn't help but think, damn, the women who are associated to the brand professionally are getting so much pushback, it's almost as if they're the f**king child molesters."

The 32-year-old star wrote over the video, "Why are women being blamed for a MANS [sic] mistake? It's the internalized misogyny for me." While Julia didn't drop any name in the video, many believed that she's referencing Kim, who was slammed for taking time to speak on the controversy. "The Kardashians" star was also criticized for saying that she's "re-evaluating" her relationship with the Spanish fashion house.

"Thank you I'm seeing Kim get more backlash then man who created the whole campaign," one person showed agreement with Julia in a comment. "i'm seeing people asking the models/celebrities who have worked with them to apologize? for what exactly? they were not the creatives behind it?" another user similarly wrote.

Julia's TikTok video came after Kim broke her silence on Balenciaga situation on Instagram Stories. "I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven't been shocked and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened," the ex-wife of Ye said in a statement.

"As a mother of four, I have been shaken by those disturbing images," the SKIMS founder added. "The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and anything against it should have no place in our society - period."

After applauding Balenciaga for removing pictures from the campaign and apologizing, Kim concluded, "In speaking with them, I believe they understand the seriousness of the issue and will take the necessary measures for this to never happen again."

In a separate post, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum revealed how the controversy would likely affect the future of her partnership with the high-end brand. "As for my future with Balenciaga, I am currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand," she explained, "basing it off their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened to begin with - and the actions I am expecting to see them take to protect children."

In related news, Balenciaga doubled down on its apology by issuing another statement addressing the backlash. "We strongly condemn child abuse; it was never our intent to include it in our narrative," the statement read. "The two separate ad campaigns in question reflect a series of grievous errors for which Balenciaga takes responsibility."

"This was a wrong choice by Balenciaga, combined with our failure in assessing and validating images," the statement continued. "The responsibility for this lies with Balenciaga alone."

It also revealed that Balenciaga is currently participating in internal and external investigations. Concluding the lengthy message, the brand stated, "Balenciaga reiterates its sincere apologies for the offensive we have caused and extends its apologies to talents and partners."
