AceShowbiz - Kourtney Kardashian will never forget her son Reign's first haircut. "The Kardashians" star revealed in a new interview what she would do to a lock of her youngest child's tresses that she kept after she cut his hair for the first time when he was five.
"I have Reign's hair because we didn't cut his hair until he was five," Kourtney told Interview in an article which was published on Monday, November 21. "So I have his long braid and I smell it often."
Back in August 2020, the Poosh founder shared that after years of rocking a shoulder-length mane, Reign had a new 'do. She treated her Instagram followers to a picture of her son sporting a buzzcut as she wrote in the caption, "I am not ok."
On the same day, the reality TV star posted a photo via Instagram of the braided ponytail she saved after Reign's major milestone. When one fan asked her what she would do with the hair, the 43-year-old simply said, "It will be with me forever."
Reign, meanwhile, got to try some new hairstyles after the cut. Thanks to his stepdad Travis Barker, the seven-year-old boy looked impressive when he sported a mohawk over the summer, similar to the Blink-182 drummer's signature 2000s look.
Kourtney also felt heavy when she had to cut her daughter Penelope's hair for the first time. "First ever hair cut in all of her enchanting six years," the Lemme founder wrote alongside a photo of her little girl donning a blunt bob. Ever since the first cut, Penelope has had fun experimenting with her hair as she dyed her tresses red in August 2021.
Kourtney herself made a hair makeover of her own just a few weeks later. The California native traded her waist-length locks for a long bob that went right above her shoulders. The new style was a huge change for the star, who has consistently had long hair throughout most of her time. She earned a praise from Travis, who wrote, "you're perfect," in an Instagram comment.
