The former star of 'The Real Housewives of Potomac' makes use of her Instagram account to set the record straight about the accusations, insisting that she's not colorist.

AceShowbiz - Ashley Darby reacted to colorist accusations that were leveled at her. The former star of "The Real Housewives of Potomac" took to her Instagram account to set the record straight about the matter, insisting that she's not colorist.
"I really hate that I have to say anything about this, that I have to address this, but it seems to have just gotten, like, way out of control," Ashley said in an Instagram Story video on Monday, November 14. "First and foremost, I am not a colorist. I know everyone wants to deem me that."
The former Bravolebrity went on to say, "They want to make all these accusations about me, but I don't claim that because that's not me."
Speaking about her relationship with the other Housewives on the reality TV show, Ashley said, "I feel like people forget that I have had issues or disagreements with every single woman on the show for whatever reason, for whatever thing that we disagreed upon, at some point in time, irrespective of the hue of her skin."
"So I always start at a hundred with people until you give a reason to take it down, alright? That is all that has transpired," she added. "And I still care about the women on this show. And I hope, I hope that everyone, including them, knows that. Nothing that I will ever feel about you is because of your color of your skin!"
Back in 2020, Ashley famously got into a nasty altercation with co-star Candiace Dillard. Things went south between the two after Ashley confessed that Monique Samules had asked her to provide a statement in her favor following her fight with Candiace at the wine tasting.
Robyn Dixon then chimed in, "You wrote this statement as revenge towards Candiace." That prompted Candiace to respond, "F**k you, Ashley." At a party, the two Housewives got into a verbal fight and at one point, Candiace walked towards Ashley before being held back.
The fight also involved their respective husbands. Candiace's husband Chris Watts told Ashley's husband Michael Derby, "Michael, you should get the f**k out of my face." To that, Michael responded, "Shut the f**k up and listen to what I'm saying."
