A representative for the YouTube star confirms she 'seeks treatment and healing' following her brief time in jail after she was allegedly caught 'walking around naked by a swimming pool and dousing a police officer with water' at a Miami hotel.

AceShowbiz - Nikita Dragun is getting the help she needs following her recent brush with the law. The makeup artist is getting the treatment for her mental health in "a safe environment" after she was arrested at a Miami hotel, her representative has confirmed.

Announcing Nikita's decision to check into the facility, her rep Jack Ketsoyan tells TMZ, "We want to thank everyone for the overwhelming love and support for Nikita during this time. She is in a safe environment addressing her mental health."

The rep further pleads with her fans, "We ask for continued respect for her privacy and the sensitivity of this matter as she seeks treatment and healing." According to the site, Nikita began seeking treatment on Wednesday, November 9, shortly after she was released from jail.

Nikita has opened up about her mental health issue in the past. Back in December 2021, she revealed she was had been detained in a psychiatric facility for eight days under a Temporary Detaining Order. Later in May, she shared on her YouTube channel that she was diagnosed as bipolar.

Nikita, born Nikita Nguyen, was taken into custody on Monday, November 7 at luxury The Goodtime Hotel after "walking around naked by a swimming pool and dousing a police officer with water." She got busted after police responded to a report of a person being "extremely disorderly" and "causing a disturbance" at the hotel. The 26-year-old was arrested for felony battery on a police officer, misdemeanor disorderly conduct and misdemeanor battery.

When the makeup artist appeared in court last week, she told the judge she was being kept in a men's unit and asked to be transferred. The judge told her that was between her and the jail.

Nikita's rep then doubled down on her remark, telling TMZ, "The situation with Nikita, who is legally female, being placed in a men's unit of a Florida jail is extremely disturbing and dangerous." Jack added, "This decision made by the Miami-Dade County Corrections Department directly violates their protocol, which mandates that transgender inmates are classified and housed based on safety needs and gender identity."

However, a jail official refuted her claims. A rep for Miami-Dade Corrections said that she never "made it beyond the booking process prior to release" to begin with. "Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Department (MDCR) is committed to protecting the rights of the transgender community and of all LGBTQ people," the rep said in a statement to TMZ on Thursday, November 10.

The rep assured, "MDCR has procedures in place for the appropriate intake, housing, and medical needs of transgender inmates, and we are committed to ensuring that all inmates in our custody, including transgender persons, are treated appropriately throughout our intake, classification and placement process."

"Inmate Dragun never made it beyond the booking process prior to release; therefore, she was never placed in a men's unit. All inmates undergoing our intake process remain in an open seating (open booking) area, in the presence of correctional staff," the rep further clarified.

In fact, jail officers were apparently aware of Nikita's status as a celebrity and ensured her safety. "Additionally, inmate Dragun was placed in a holding cell by herself due to her high profile status before being released, and she was escorted by an LGBTQ officer during her time at the corrections facility," according to the rep.
