AceShowbiz - Tom Brady has gotten candid about how his kids want anything but the best for him. The NFL star unveiled that his 9-year-old daughter Vivian urged him to seek "better peace of mind" after his and Gisele Bundchen's divorce.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion made the confession in the latest episode of his SiriusXM show "Let's Go!". He shared, "My daughter always says, 'Daddy, you did not have a happy face out there.' And I'm trying!"
"I wish I would have more awareness of what the scowl looks like, but I'm doing my best to try to get to a better place and better peace of mind," Tom added. He also noted that Vivian is always "excited" to watch him play, calling her his "No. 1 cheerleader."
"That little girl was very excited for her dad. She is my No. 1 cheerleader," the 45-year-old Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, who is also the father of sons Jack and Benjamin with exes Bridget Moynahan and Gisele respectively, said. He later pointed out, "And I wouldn't have it any other way."
Tom finalized his divorce from his wife of 13 years Gisele on October 28. The "ironclad prenup" the couple signed a few years ago allowed them to settle the case swiftly a few hours after Gisele filed it.
According to reports, the pair "haven't had the same goal" for their marriage but do have the same goal when it comes to their children. A source noted that Gisele is "grateful" for the years she has spent with Tom. "Gisele couldn't be prouder of her kids. She tries to stay in a positive place. She is grateful for all the years with Tom. She is ready for a new chapter now though," added the so-called insider.
Earlier this month, it's revealed that Tom and Gisele agreed to have joint custody of their kids. A source told PEOPLE that will allow their children to have "full access" to both parents. "They can see whichever parent they want. They've got a schedule, but neither of them would prevent their kids from seeing the other parent. The kids adore them both, and they'll have full access to both, whenever they want. They're not vindictive like that," said the insider.
