The 'One Tree Hill' alum also explains in her podcast that she and the reality star were initially 'acquaintances' on Instagram who shared similar stories about being cheated on.

AceShowbiz - Jana Kramer is not happy with Meghan King's comment about her ex-husband, Mike Caussin. When hosting her "Whine Down" podcast, the "One Tree Hill" alum called out the former star of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" for calling Mike "hot."
In the Sunday, October 30 episode of the show, Jana first recalled, "We were cordial … we were, like, acquaintances on Instagram because of how [our] situations [were], so we just kind of related to that." She added, "Stories are very similar. "Lots of just like, 'You've got this, you're strong,' whatever."
"She would ask me questions about like narcissist stuff, having a narcissist ex. … And there was something that she said in our DMs that really bothered me," the singer/actress continued. She then revealed Meghan's message that read, "At least your ex is hot."
"I go, 'I'm sorry, that kind of bothered me. I would never say your ex is hot, especially knowing how much he hurt you. Anyways, have a great day.' And that's the last I've communicated with her," Jana argued. "The hotness has nothing to do with it. I don't look at my ex and have any attraction toward him. … I would've said, 'At least you have beautiful children.' That's the silver lining."
Meghan later came on the podcast to share her side of the story. "In my opinion, I was trying to give you a compliment," she told the host. "I was trying to make light of a s**tty situation because I know that you know what it's like to be with a s**tty person that does s**tty things to you. … I said that because I thought it was a compliment. I thought it was a nice thing to say."
"The reaction that I've gotten when I've explained my side of it is that you overreacted and that maybe you were feeling sensitive," the reality star added. "I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. … But I certainly wasn't making light of anything."
Jana said she appreciated the apology. However, she pointed out that what matters is she and Meghan both have a fair share of dealing with "cheating a**holes."
Jana finalized her divorce from Mike in July 2021. She previously alleged that he cheated on her with more than 13 women throughout their relationship.
As for Meghan, she was married to Jim Edmonds for five years, but they split in 2019 with her accusing her ex of "having an affair" with their 22-year-old nanny. Jim already denied the allegation.
