AceShowbiz - A new episode of "The Masked Singer" season 8 featured the show celebrating "Muppets Night". In the Wednesday, October 26 episode, which saw Miss Piggy joining as a guest judge, two new contestants took the stage to challenge Robo Girl, who was named as The Queen of Masked Singer for Round 2.
The first singer to perform that night was Robo Girl. Hitting the stage to defend her crown, Robo Girl sang "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen as she's accompanied by Kermit the Frog. Her visual hints included two jars of honey, a name tag reading "HELLO my name is STAGE NAME" and a picture of Lindsay Lohan. Jenny McCarthy guessed Shay Mitchell, Nicole Scherzinger mentioned America Ferrera or Liza Koshy.
Following it up was Bettle. In his visual clues, he put a pair of black glasses, beetle floating onto land atop a suitcase and running down a red carpet. That night, he sang "The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Sinatra. Miss Piggy thought Bettle could be John Larroquette. Ken Jeong, meanwhile, guessed Mike Myers with Jenny mentioning Jerry Springer.
Up next was The Lambs, which consisted of three singers dressing up like Little Boo Beep. They had golf references, a pair of jeans that said "Famous" on the butt, a sign that read "Venice," a huge diamond ring and the Men in Black eating popcorn in their visual clues. That night, The Lambs performed "Hot N Cold" by Katy Perry. Ken guessed The Lambs were Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian. Nicole thought they could be HAIM, while Robin Thicke threw out The Chicks in the mix.
It was time to reveal the first singer to get unmasked. Host Nick Cannon shared that Bettle was the singer with the least votes. Before he removed the mask, the judges made their final guesses. Nicole guessed Rowan Atkinson and Ken stuck with Mike Myers. Jenny and Robin, meanwhile, mentioned Jerry Springer with Miss Piggy going with John Larroquette. Jenny and Robin guessed correctly because Bettle was Jerry Springer.
For the Battle Royale, Robo Girl and The Lambs belted out "Call Me" by Blondie. Both nailed the performance but there was only one winner, and it was The Lambs. That meant Robo Girl had to give up on her crown with The Lambs being the new Queen of the Masked Singer for Round 2.
For the final guesses, Ken named Sydney Sweeney. Jenny thought Robo Girl was Shay Mitchell. Nicole still went with Liza Koshy, Robin mentioned Keke Palmer, while Miss Piggy named herself. No one guessed correctly as Robo Girl was actually Katerina Graham.
