AceShowbiz - Edie Falco understands Pete Davidson's appeal to women. The actress, who portrays Pete's mom on upcoming Peacock's series "Bupkis", weighed in on Pete's dating history in a new interview.

While attending the Broadway opening of "Leopoldstadt" on Sunday evening, October 2, Edie shared that it was easy to fall for Pete. "You kind of fall in love with him the second you meet him," she told Page Six.

"There is something so endearingly vulnerable and out there [about him]. He doesn't play games," added Edie. "He doesn't try to keep up an image beyond what he cops to. He's absolutely lovable. The second you meet him, you just want to hug him."

The 59-year-old star also noted that she wasn't "surprised" that her co-star dated the likes of Kim Kardashian, Kate Beckinsale and Kaia Gerber. "He's as genuine a person as I've come across in a long time," she explained.

On "Bupkis", Edie and Pete will be joined by Joe Pesci. The "Goodfellas" legend will star as the comic's grandfather. The half-hour live comedy show is described as a "heightened, fictionalized version" of Staten Island native Pete's real life. A press release for the show says it will "combine grounded storytelling with absurd elements from the unfiltered and completely original worldview for which Pete is well known."

It was said that Pete is currently enjoying his life following his split from Kim. In an interview last month, Martha Stewart said that the "Saturday Night Live" alum is now busy with several film productions. "He's doing two movies at the present time," she said while promoting her Green Mountain Coffee Roasters partnership to E! News. Martha also revealed that the comedian "agreed to do my podcast," though they haven't locked in a date for the podcast.

Martha went on to share that Pete is currently living the best of his life despite splitting from "The Kardashians" star. "He's having the time of his life," Martha added. "This guy is a talented actor [and] comedian, and who is a bon vivant at the same time. He's fun."
