AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande has been seen for the first time on "Wicked" set. The "thank u, next" hitmaker was photographed filming Universal's film adaptation of the Tony-winning Broadway musical in London.

In photos obtained by Daily Mail, the 29-year-old singer/actress was seen on the film set on Tuesday, September 27 with her husband Dalton Gomez. The former Nickelodeon star, who stars as Glinda the Good Witch in the movie, could be seen departing the set and entering a waiting car after a day of filming.

Ariana was spotted wearing a pink turtle neck top. The "positions" singer paired it with a matching wooly handbag. The "Don't Look Up" star, who wore her locks in her trademark ponytail, also sported a white mini skirt and wrapped up in a brown coat.

Ariana's husband Dalton, in the meantime, cut a casual figure in a brown T-shirt and black trousers along with a matching L.A. Dodgers cap. The married couple, who tied the knot on May 15, 2021, sported matching pink face masks.

"Wicked" is slated to be released in two parts, arriving in 2024 and 2025. Previously, Ariana clarified that she is not working on any new music and will not be until she has finished filming the musical movie.

Ariana told her fans about her decision in a video posted on her makeup line R.E.M. Beauty's YouTube channel. The "God Is a Woman" songstress declared, "I'm spending all of my time with Glinda."

Ariana also explained that she wanted "a little bit of transparency and honesty" with her fans. She stated, "This is a question I'm nervous to answer, but I feel like I want to have a little bit of transparency and honesty with my fans. The truth is, I have not begun an album."

Ariana further pointed out that after releasing "positions," she was "not ready" to restart the process. She said, "I hear through the grapevine that you have a lot of theories and expectations in that department. But after 'positions', [I] was not ready to start another album yet, so I have not begun another album."

Though so, fans will be able to listen to Ariana's new music soon. Earlier this month, Kali Uchis revealed that she and Ariana will be hitting the recording studio together for a collaboration after the pop star is "done" with her "Wicked" movie.

During a live stream on TikTok on September 11, Kali revealed the upcoming project. "She's not recording right now," the "telepatia" hitmaker told her followers. "Because working on her movie stuff; her play that she's doing… She said that when she's done with that, we are going to work."

Kali, whose real name is Karly-Marina Loaiza, then said, "I'm excited for that." As of this writing, neither of the two musicians has confirmed the official title and release date of their upcoming collaboration.
