The 'Hollyoaks' actor is rumored to fly Down Under to take part in the televised jungle-based survival series which is expected to return later this year.

AceShowbiz - Owen Warner is expected to appear on "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!". Known for playing the role of Romeo Nightingale in the Channel 4 soap opera "Hollyoaks" and appearing as a guest on spin-off chat show "I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp" back in 2018, the 23-year-old actor is reportedly heading Down Under as the jungle-based survival show returns to screens later this year.

"Owen is so excited to be in the mix. He's never done anything like this, and it would catapult his profile to a new level. His abs are on-point so he wouldn't be shy about showing off his bod!" a source told The Sun on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the long-running reality show - which has been hosted by Ant and Dec since its inception in 2002 - is set to reunite former campmates of the series such as former Hear'Say singer Myleene Klass and "Coronation Street" star Andy Whyment for a pre-recorded spin-off based in South Africa.

Dec said in the video, "We can confirm we're doing a very special series of 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' in South Africa. Look at this joint." Ant quipped, "Nobody told me," before saying, "We're here, aren't we?" Dec continued, "It's going to be your favourite celebrities from the last 20 years who are going back in to do it one more time in South Africa."

The Geordie duo also teased the debut date of this year's main "I'm a Celebrity" run, which is returning to Australia after two years of being filmed in in North Wales' Gwrych Castle due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ant asked his co-star, "But are we going to Australia, Declan?" Dec replied, "Yes we are. This year we are going back. Normal Australia 2022 and South Africa 2023."

They also wrote on Instagram, "South Africaaaaaaa! That's right, we're filming a very special version of I'm A Celebrity in South Africa which is coming to your tellies in 2023. So, Just for the record… IAC 2022 - Australia AU, IAC Special 2023 - South Africa, ZA IAC 2023 - Australia AU."
