AceShowbiz - Lamar Odom is still single. Despite speculations that he's in a romantic relationship with transgender actress/model Daniielle Alexis, the former NBA player claims that he's not dating her and that they are just friends.
According to TMZ, Lamar revealed to the news outlet on Friday, September 23 that "he's not dating Daniielle and never was." The ex-husband of Khloe Kardashian also claimed that "he hasn't seen or spoken to her since July, when she left Los Angeles."
Sources close to Lamar also echoed the statement. They noted that while Lamar and Daniielle "do know each other," their relationship is simply platonic. The two are friendly to each other and that was why people seemed to think there's more to their relationship.
It was also said that Lamar and Daniielle met back in June when he was in L.A. for the BET Awards. The insiders said that a car pulled up when Lamar was shopping. The actress then hopped out of the vehicle to ask for a photo. The two then exchanged numbers.
The pair allegedly kept in touch. They even grabbed lunch together when he recently moved back to Los Angeles. According to the source, the pair usually talk about the industry as Daniielle is an aspiring actress. The insider also added that Lamar doesn't have anything against the transgender community and has no issue with Daniielle being a trans woman.

In one of the snaps, the rumored couple posed together while twinning in black outfits. Another picture, meanwhile, featured them being inside the car with the actress puckering her lips towards Lamar.
"It's always blessings from us, Lamar says hi this morning to everyone too," so she captioned the post. In another post, Daniielle called the basketball player "one of the most beautiful humans" that she's ever met.
Upon catching wind of the post, Internet users quickly pointed out that Daniielle bore a resemblance to Khloe. One person joked, "he said he willing to get a khloe look alike no matter what! Chile these men." Meanwhile, someone was seemingly more shocked by the fact that Lamar might be dating a transgender, asking, "Lamar, is it something you want to tell us baby?"
Later on Thursday, Daniielle appeared to address the backlash with a video of late trans model Octavia St. Laurent, whom she called her "muse of the week." In the said clip, Octavia said confidently, "I am here and nothing can push me aside. Nothing can change what goes on in this world. This world is for me too, honey. And they have to understand that."
She continued, "I have a right to be here just like everybody else. See, the problem is they don't want you to know about me 'cause first of all, I get too many d**ks hard. Simple as that."
