AceShowbiz - Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith put on a united front at her latest milestone. "The Matrix Resurrections" actress and her husband were seen smiling ear-to-ear as they celebrated her 51st birthday with their family and friends.
Giving fans a look at the bash was Jada. Taking to Instagram, she shared a video of everyone singing her "Happy Birthday". The "Red Table Talk" co-host, who sported a red coat, matching top, a black knit cap and fuchsia suede boots, later blew the candles.
The mom of two said to those present, "I'm just grateful, just deeply grateful." Will, who was standing next to her and their kids Jaden Smith and Willow Smith, then chimed in, "The end ... she's grateful - highest virtue."
The Lisa Cooper of "Girls Trip" then doubled down on her gratitude in the caption of the post. "I'm so grateful for all the birthday love yesterday," she gushed. "Thank you."
Just a few days earlier, Jada celebrated "Bald Is Beautiful Day". Posting a never-before-seen selfie of her looking glowing in a golden dress, she captioned it, "Happy Bald is Beautiful day to all my brothers and sisters with no hair."
Jada commemorated the "Bald Is Beautiful Day" six months after her husband Will was enraged by Chris Rock's joke about her shaved head at the Academy Awards ceremony in March. The "King Richard" leading man slapped the comedian, who was presenting onstage, and shouted at Chris twice to "keep my wife's name out of your f**king mouth!"
Will has issued his apology to Chris though. In an Instagram video posted on July 29, he said, "I've reached out to Chris and the message that came back is that he's not ready to talk when he is, he will reach out. So I will say to you, Chris, I apologize to you. My behavior was unacceptable and I'm here whenever you're ready to talk."
The 53-year-old also apologized to Chris' mother and entire family. "I just didn't realize how many people got hurt in that moment, so I want to apologize to Chris's mother. I want to apologize," he remarked.
