The 'Do We Have A Problem?' rapper, whose real name is Dominique Armani Jones, was supposed to headline BreakOut Festival on Sunday, September 18 at the PNE Amphitheatre.

AceShowbiz - Lil Baby has been forced to cancel his headlining performance in Vancouver, Canada. When sharing the disappointing news to his online devotees, the "Do We Have A Problem?" rapper revealed that he made the decision because his body is "completely shut down."

The 27-year-old shared the announcement via Instagram Story on Monday, September 19. "I would like to start off by saying I truly apologize [to] Vancouver, Canada, the Breakout Festival and everyone who was in attendance," he began his statement.

"I have been going so hard these past few months without any breaks, that it finally caught up with me and my body completely shut down," the emcee, born Dominique Armani Jones, added. "I owe you guys big time and will, for sure, make up for it soon."

The show was supposed to take place on Sunday. Upon learning of Baby's absence, concertgoers expressed their anger by destroying sections of the PNE Amphitheater. In videos obtained by TMZ, the furious crowd could be seen tearing down tents and toppling food stands and garbage dumpsters.

Speaking of the cancellation, a representative from the PNE Amphitheatre told XXL Mag, "Following an announcement that the headliner at BreakOut Festival would not be performing, fans turned their disappointment into anger, doing significant damage to the PNE Amphitheatre and parts of Hastings Park." The rep added, "Today, our first priority is for the safety and well-being of our staff as many were deeply affected by the reaction of guests and behaviour that ensued."

"We thank the Vancouver Police Department for their quick and professional response which prevented the situation from becoming much worse. To our neighbours - the PNE is incredibly sorry for the actions of those guests and impact this behaviour may have had on our community," the statement added. "We will be undertaking a full investigation and will be making further statements shortly."

The chaos arrived after Baby confirmed the title and release date for his new album earlier this month. Sharing the cover art for the upcoming project on Instagram, he declared, " 'It's Only Me' 10-14-22 I Kno Its Been Along Time Coming But I'm Coming Harder And Harder …… #worththewait."
