AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj won't let anyone defame her. The "Super Freaky Girl" hitmaker just launched legal action against blogger Marley Green a.k.a. Nosey Heaux after the latter called her a "cokehead" in a video shared on Twitter.
The 39-year-old filed the $75,000 defamation lawsuit on Wednesday, September 14 in federal court in New York. Quoting Green's statement in the clip, the Trinidadian raptress stated, "[Minaj is] shoving all this cocaine, shoving in all this cocaine up her nose."
"Allegedly. Thank you. Allegedly. But we all know it's true. F**k - listen, I can't even say allegedly with that 'cause I - we know it's true. I'm not saying allegedly on that," Green went on stressing. "Nicki Minaj is a cokehead."
Minaj alleged that Green also posted "vile comments" about her 1-year-old son Papa Bear, whom she shares with husband Kenneth Petty. Petty is a registered sex offender convicted of attempting to rape a 16-year-old girl in 1994. Now, according to the docs, the blogger suggested that the toddler needs therapy because he "is going to be a rapist, too."
Speaking about the case, Minaj's lawyer Judd Burstein said, "Marley Green is a disgrace – someone so lacking in fundamental decency that she has posted vile comments about Nicki’s one-year-old son." Burstein added, "When this case is over, she will no longer be permitted to use the name 'Nosey Heaux' because we will take her trademark from her when she does not have enough money to pay the judgment."
"Anyone else who spreads lies about Nicki will suffer a similar fate. My marching orders are to aggressively sue anyone with a media or social media following who damages her with intentional lies," the attorney emphasized. "Eventually, the lesson will be learned."
While Green has yet to officially respond to Minaj's filing in court, she threatened to file a countersuit. "Nicki Minaj has been in a rage for several days now. She threatened me, sent her barbz to harass and threaten to kill me, now doxxing me. She has gone way too far and I'm definitely suing her. #Survivingthepettys," she declared.
