AceShowbiz - Waka Flocka Flame is opening up about his split from Tammy Rivera. The rapper decided to further detail the separation in an interview ahead of season 3 of "Waka & Tammy: What the Flocka".

In an interview with HipHopDX, Waka shared, "I chose this life 14, 15 years ago, the whole relationship, when I chose to get in this arena of being a celebrity, so it is what it is." He added, "It's definitely depressing with egg on your face, but when it's like, for me, it just feels more comforting to say, 'Man, I feel like I caused it.' "

The "Hard in da Paint" spitter later explained the reason behind their split. "That's me being a bigger man. That's not saying me, I'm the reason that we split. That's not the reason. There's no reason," he divulged. "That cheating stuff, that s**t happened eight years ago. The reason we split is … there's no reason, I'm telling you. You don't even know. It was just a mutual feeling."

Waka also shared that his brother was concerned about "where [his] headspace is at" now that he's single. "It's been two-and-a-half years. This episode might bring these feelings back though," he shared. "I don't know what I felt [then], but I know what I feel. I was definitely in a mental … it was serious. It's serious, no matter how you want to put it. But we separated with grace."

In the interview, Waka also shared what he's up to following the separation. "I just upped everything in my life," he said. "I upped my meditations, I upped my eating patterns, I upped my everything, man. I'm telling you, it's impossible. I have to do things that vibrate high."

He's also working on his diet. "I was just going backward," he noted. "It was like, 'What happens to somebody that eats vegan and goes back to eating toxic, basically?' And I see I'm getting bigger. I'm like, 'OK.' The fun part about that, it's always fun to detox and eat clean. It feels good when you eat clean."

Back in March, Tammy hopped on Instagram Live to confirm that she and Waka had separated after being together for 8 years. "I said the man fine, him and Charlie good, we good, we are not together and that's cool. We're good. We're in good spaces," she said at the time, referring to her daughter whom the pair are co-parenting together.

"They are together all of the time. He just picked her up a cell phone without me knowing. I feel like we gotta co-parent," the TV personality, who tied the knot with the rapper in May 2014, continued. "We didn't even co-parent good when we were in the same damn household. It ain't gon be no better now that we're separated and in different households. He still do what the hell he wanna do. But that's his baby so I understand."
